If you missed an e-zine, from now on you do not have to worry: everything is kept here, so that you can search the type of activity, by zone or suitable age; this way you can easily discover what you want to do with your family: outdoor activities (excursions, amusement spots, routes…), cultural trips (museums, popular local celebrations), ecotourism, overnight stays, local gastronomy, sports and games, science and technology…
Now you can start combining and planning your own weekend!
This week ExploraTgn.cat’s team has been carried away by the lightning in the streets, cribs al over the city, Christmas songs and decorations.
In our E-ZINE nr. 3 we rediscover the old quarter of Tarragona walking from crib to crib. In Tortosa we give you the opportunity to do your Christmas purchases on the rhythm of Christmas songs. And for the most creative ones a workshop of Christmas decorations at the CaixaForum of Tarragona to learn to make gifts wrapping paper. But if you are good autodidacts, you will make wonders with the website Dos Lourdes. And for those that want to dream a little: Cinderella at the Metropol Theatre. A real classic.
Six proposals so that you start to feel Christmas!
Christmas arrives and ExploraTgn.cat also wants to give gifts.
The 12 first subscribers who send us an e-mail will be able to have fun for free at the workshop of Christmas decorations of the CaixaForum that ran out more than 3 weeks ago. If your children are small artists, you can not lose this workshop!
You just have to send us an e-mail writing “workshop” as subject. Please send it from the e-mail that you use as a subscriber… and start to have fun!
Have you enjoyed the long weekend? We did. We have discovered 4 new routes and today we present you one of them in our E-ZINE nr. 2. It’s incredible that so many jewels as the castle of Escornalbou can be found near Tarragona or Reus. You leave the city in in about half an hour you are in the middle of the mountain enjoying of some incredible panoramic views. As you will see, the route (this time by car even though we propose you a small itinerary to pull the legs) will bring you to l’Argentera and the reservoir of Riudecanyes. On your way you will find the restaurant Cunirri, where you will be received with a warm village welcome.
And if you are still missing a figure of the crib, you can have a look at Valls’ Christmas market, which guarantees you your kids entretainment with the birds and horse exposition. But if you prefer some warmer places, we have two other proposals: next to the oven of the glassmaker Paco in Vimbodí and Poblet you will not pass even bit of cold at all and you will even discover how the silicon is converted into glass. And if you like the subject of the professions, bring the children to Ai la Farina show, at the auditorium of Caixa Tarragona; the children will learn with the puppets to how make the bread.
And before going to sleep, a story. The link of the week proposes you an alternative way to explain the stories through “A hand of stories”.
Have a nice family weekend.
This morning the E-ZINE nr 1 has been published. It has been an intense week specially for Javier, Alfredo and Sílvia of the Toolkom team because they had to finish on time the bulletin that has been sent today for the first time to our subscribers and members of the net by e-mail. We are about 100 members!
And will you find in the e-zine nr. 1? Some proposals so that you can discover that the beach villages of the Costa Dorada also are a good place to go in wintertime. If you decide to do the biking route we propose, you will discover totally rural and typical landscape of the Mediterrany in Torredembarra. And in Coma-ruga we have the opportunity to be spiderman. In the adventure park Diver you can jump from tree to tree through the bridges, the ropes and the tirolines. And if sporting opens your apetite, you will find the restaurant La Bota in the middle of both cities in Roda de Barà, a suitable place to go with children and totally fit out for persons in wheelchairs.
For those of you who love theatre and books, we propose a play at the Orfeò Montsià of Ulldecona. You can see the Zoo of Pitus. Finally you have an appointment in La Fatarella this weekend, if you want your children to act as small chefs and prepare a cake of oil.
And our link of the week is a piece of advice: if you have doubts about what your kids may watch on TV, just have a look at TAC’s webpage. It will spare you surprises!
Enjoy your weekend with the kids!
