In our E-ZINE nr. 12 we present again 6 proposals to enjoy the weekend with children. This time we have followed a recommendation of one of the members of our net, Rafel Caixal from Valls, and we have visited the Pla de Santa Maria. If it is sunny we propose you a route on foot or by bike around the booths of stone of this village, an itinerary full of corners and hiding places that will convert the route into a game for the children. It’s a great season to go, since you will find the almond trees in blossom! And afterwards you can enjoy of a good escargot menu at the Masia del Pla.  If you like gastronomy, you shouldn’t miss the Xatonada in Segur de Calafell.  You will find even a child demonstration of xatonaires.

But if it rains, you can listen to musical stories at the Bartrina Theatre of Reus or let the children be creative making mosaics in the Abacus of Tarragona. And for the smallest we have some musical video clips so they can memorize the Catalan traditional songs.

We have now received more requests for free tickets for the slide of Calafell’s toboggan than those we can offer.. Six families will be able to go until the 31 March to Calafell Slide and have fun sliding down! We expect tem to explain how it went!

ExploraTgn.cat invites 4 families of subscribers to enjoy of a full speed slide at the giant toboggan (700 meters) of Calafell during the moth of March. An emotion you do not want to miss!

If you are of the firsts sending us an e-mail detailing the number of children and their ages, you will be able to enjoy of a free trip for you, your partner and the children! Remember its an activity for old and young (from 2 years on). Children younger than 8 years have to go accompanied by an adult.

To prepare the E-ZINE nr. 11 we had a special guest: the trapella bee. Our daughter of 2 years and half arrived on Friday at home with the mascot of class, which had to accompany us all the weekend. The bee enjoyed of one of the most splendid places of the Baix Camp: Les Tosques, in Capafonts. She slide down of the giant toboggan in Calafell at top speed without being freighted, and the children made a mask that we printed out from the website Dibujos para pintar, a page full of handy crafts resources. So the bee has now a few adventures to explain the class.

If you search alternatives to the adventures of the trapella bee, you can go to Montblanc to enjoy Carnival in a different way. The show offered by Articulat will encourage you to sing and dance. After a funny morning, enjoy of the Catalan traditional cooking at the Molí del Mallol, in Montblanc. And speaking about gastronomy, remember that on Sunday you have an appointment at the Artichoke Celebration of Amposta, where you will be able to taste 6 different dishes prepared with artichokes.

And at the Caixaforum of Tarragona a quintet of metal instruments will be presenting you these instruments in a funny way. 

And for those who prefer to be far from parades, we have an itinerary by bike at the Encanyissada lagoon of the Delta’s Ebro. And if you want to taste the traditional cuisine of the Delta you must stop at the Estany restaurant.

This weekend we propose a different and original itinerary in our E-ZINE nr. 9. What do you think of doing a gymkhana with the children in order to discover all the sundials that are are scattered all over Porrera? And as usual, we invite you to continue enjoying the region and have lunch in Poboleda, at the restaurant Populetus. But if you are not a gymkhana person, we can take you to the past and relive the world of the Iberians in the Iberian Citadel of Calafell and, of at the same time, visit the sheep that were born some weeks ago. And if you like the animals, take note of the Tres Tombs meeting in El Vendrell. You will be able to see coaches and horses at tutti pleni.

If it rains again, do not suffer, you will be able to have fun with the younger ones at the Theater Fortuny in Reus, with the show Corda i descorda. And the older ones are invited to the triplets courtyard, a website full of games to take consiousness o recycling, etc…
