We invite parents to the I Forum on ADHD

April 30th, 2009

Taking into account that this disorder affects between 3 and 5% of school children ExploraTgn.cat believes that we must support initiatives that help families to understand better the problem and especially in dealing with them and find tools to help the children learn to organize and manage the disorder.

If you are interested in attending the meeting for families or young people and adults affected bon Friday, May 8 2009 16:00 to 21:00, send us an email. The first subscriber who contacts us will have a free entrance to the talk and the workshop.

Following the waterfalls with the kids

April 30th, 2009

To prepare the e-zine 21 we followed the waterfalls of the Glorieta river in Alcover  to discover the nature and historical heritage of the hydraulic industry of Catalonia. The children will enjoy jumping from stone to stone to cross the river, climbing to ascend to the power central and parents will enjoy a ride in a captivating landscape. And for lunch you can choose one of the two recreational areas in the vicinity of the Chapel of Remedy or the Mas Forrés. And if you prefer to eat escargot, go to the restaurant Ca l’Ermità in Alcover where you can relax while the children play at the swings area.

And if you love music and dance, we have 2 activity suggestions. Vila-seca’s Street Music Fair prepared three humorous spectacles for children to enjoy music. In Salomó you can discover the story as a merchant who went to Alger and brought a Crusifix which became the patron of the village. And for those interested in finding some history of the battles during the civil war, we offer a visit to La Sénia’s airfield.

And finally, in link of the week we have an appointment for your agenda: the first forum of ADHD in Tarragona. An event that will help you to understand  better the attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity.
