Cal Crispí (Prades, Baix Camp, rural house - rooms):is a suitable place for families. In the winter you can play board games around the fire place. In summer you can enjoy the fresh air at the interior courtyard while the small ones entertain themselves without the parents having to worry. The house has two kitchens, one for the customers to use and another where breakfast, which is included in the price, and dinner are prepared.

Vinyols Camp (Vinyols i els arcs, Baix Camp, rural camping): Vinyols camp isn’t the usual camping place. It’s a field with fruit trees with huts of wood and some optimal spaces to put the tents and the caravans in the shadow of the centennial hazels. It’s a place where the children run after the hens to give them wheat and give the horses some herbs or queues to ride the ponies Sofia and Mimi. And of course, they learn to plant vegetables or harvest them depending on the period of the year. It has a swimming pool and a playground.

Assut Hostel (Xerta, Baix Ebre, Auberge): a place to enjoy of the animals, to make promenades with donkey or on a horseback very near the river and the mountain. About 600 meters of the hostel and surrounded by fields of olive trees, you will find the equestrian sports EquinNatur depending of the hostel.

Hotel Rull (Deltebre, Baix Ebre, hotel): the hotel disposes of plenty of space where children can play . Beside the pool and gym with sauna, they have prepared a play room with a house, a slide and tables with fairytales. On the other side of the room, parents can enjoy of a good movie or have a chat at the living room. In addition to single, double and triple rooms, for families the hotel has quadruple rooms with 2 separate bedrooms.

Mas de l’arlequí (Rojals, Conca de Barberà, rural house- rooms): house with 5 rooms; Children can have some fun in the garden with swings and hammocks while parents enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings from the porch. In the evening you can gather in the living room, where in cold periods the fire will warm you up while playing board games or reading books you will find in the library. An ideal starting point for those wishing to enjoy the mountains and hiking with the family.

Villa Engràcia (L’Espluga del Francolí, Conca de Barberà, apartments and hotel): In more than 11 hectares of land you’ll find fully equipped (including some with dishwasher) apartments decorated in rustic style with a terrace, for 2, 4, 6 to 8 people. Besides the pool you have a tennis and a multi sports court. There is a fairly large playground overlooking the Francolí Riding  a place that offers tours around the forest. For children there is also a small indoor playroom next to the laundry with materials for drawing, painting or constructing.

Torre Forcherón (Amposta, Montsià, rural house - rooms): house with 7 rooms. Between fields of rise, mandarin, olive and orange trees,  you will be able to enjoy some days of calmness at the farmhouse with a tower of the 15th century. In the morning the children will be able to collect the eggs in the henhouse to prepare breakfast. In the evening you will be able to harvest fresh tomatoes or beans of the vegetable garden for dinner. It has a swimming pool and a play ground.

Vilar rural d’Arnes (Arnes, Terra Alta, rural hotel): a four-star hotel where they have thought of including in daily activities the “snack time” for children at the farmhouse. Integrated into the fantastic landscape of Els Ports, you can find some colorful houses with rooms for up to 4 persons or connected rooms, all with terrace and full luxury equipped. For the parents there is a spa and for the children, besides the play area with swings, you will find the farm house next to the vegetable garden and farm with rabbits, ducks, sheep and chickens.

For the e-zine 34 we have prepared a double number. Besides the 6 usual proposals, we present you a weekend special with a route, accommodation and restaurant so that you enjoy the Baix Camp with the children.

We take you to the area of the hermitage of the Virgin of the Rock at Montroig del Camp. The eroded reddish rock where the hermitage is located is a suitable place for children let their imagination fly. They will be able to hide in the cave with the hole while you walk to the devil stairs.  And in the end you can have lunch at the Masset restaurant located on the way to the rural camping Vinyols Camp that we present you in this special, a fantastic place where the children will be able to enjoy the animals and the vegetable garden.

And our weekly proposals include some refreshing items. What about discovering one of the most beautiful stretches of the Ebre in canoe? You will go down strem from Miravet to Benifallet. In Benifallet you can recuperate strengths in Ca Treig with Manel’s paellas.

If you prefer a more cultural activity, the gymkhana of the Pau Casals Museum is a must. Every Thursday during summer you will be able to become guides to discover the life of the cellist. The touch of humor and entertainment arrives with the shows in La Pineda, offered every Friday until the 4th September.

And if you want to finish refreshing yourselves totally, do not doubt on going to the traditional collective water battle in Morell. You will enjoy of a great show where you will discover how the farmers struggled against the wood worm that loomed the hazels of the zone.

And finally, we present you, a website full of games made with recycled materials, in the link of the week. Besides of finding game ideas, you will find the instructions to construct the objects you need to play with materials you surly have at home.

If you have not gone away for Easter and you want to go out with the family, have a look at these proposals.

We take you to Rojals, a small village 12 km away from Montblanc. Close enough to be able to enjoy of the Medieval week in Montblanc, but far enough to enjoy of the tranquility of a rural setting.

From Rojals you can make many small trips. We propose you to discover the GR with the kids and go in search of a medieval cave inscriptions. You can spend the night at Mas de l’Arlequí where Mercè, Aina and Dani will receive you in a family atmosphere. And for lunch, go to the Socarrimada, a restaurant with a very good kitchen and well decorated by the owner.

A weekend to enjoy nature, panoramic views and the family.

With e-zine 16 we finally present an itinerary through the Baix Ebre. You’ll revive the prehistory following the footsteps of Paleolithic man. Discover the paintings of Cabra-Feixet and the Cave of Mallada at the Sierra del Boix. An itinerary with spectacular views. Nearby you can see the largest pig we had ever seen. Mas d’en Curto besides of having pigs, chickens, geese and many frogs, they have a restaurant where you can pass a pleasant afternoon or enjoy of a long weekend in one of the rooms of the house. Another possibility for this Easter with children.

And for those who prefer to live an adventure, we have Jungle Trek, a park where you can hang from the trees at 16 meters height. If your children prefer to be firefighters instead of Tarzans, take them to celebrate the 150 years of Tarragona’s fire department.  On Saturday they will have a party at the Rambla Nova with a gymkhana where children can demonstrate their skills. And for the little ones we have a puppet show in Vendrell. The pork and duck will help the farmer Tofol to fall in love with Tina.  And if you want to practice English with youngest, you have the game “red, yellow and blue” as a link of the week.
