About the place:
We all know that the Romans were in Tarragona. But ... why did they chose this city? And do you know why the the Cavallers street is called the Knights street? And aren’t you curious to know which story is behind the monument of the heroes of the Ramblas?
Let’s be detectives and resolve the questions together in a gymkhana organized to celebrate the first anniversary of ExploraTgn.cat. The tracks will take you to the National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona, to discover why the Romans chose this place from the Mediterranean coast and founded Tarraco. At the House Castellarnau you will discover the history of the nobles of the city, at the Museum of Modern Art you will relive the struggle of citizens of Tarragona during the French War, and finally at the Festival house, among beasts and giants, you’ll be surprised by cartoons characters of Tarragona.
Among the participants there will be Nineta and Ivori of the Club dels Tarraconins, who will meet you at different points of the game. And in the end Ms. Piruleta will put color to the party with a balloon-based animation of the story "The Rat that swept the staircase" before we give the awards.
A treasure hunt to find a little history of Tarragona and discover the museums!

If you are hungry, you can make a stop at the Pizzeria Trastevere, where you can enjoy of Italian dishes. If you prefer to have a picnic, you’ll find a large recreational area with playground, tables and sources at the Francolí Park (near the hospital Joan XXIII).

The treasure hunt will have a prize. All participants will play in a raffle to win a night in the rural hotel Villa Engràcia, near Poblet and 6 free tickets to the park Diver in Comaruga.
Programme:
Registration: Friday 29/11/09 from 10:30 to 11:30.
If you send us an email before 28/11/09 including your family name, no. children involved, no. adults involved, children's age and place of origin, you can simply collect the material on Sunday so you will skip the registration queue.
