About the place:

If your children have asked you how crystal glass is made, now you have the chance to show them (at least how it is made in the traditional way).

During the seventies father Àngel started a campaign in Vimbodí to create a glass museum in his village. He had a great idea of a certain value for the village, since at the time Vimbodí had glass factories. It was not until 1997 that his dream became real. The glass museum opened offering an added value: glassmaker Paco Ramos started working in a small workshop on the ground floor of the museum. And so Vimbodí became one of the three places in Spain were you can see how silicon becomes glass. With your own eyes you can see how just by blowing the war mass Paco transforms it into an animal, a jug or a glass.

A unique way to teach the children the craft!
