About the place:
If you would like to proof your skills, the nature and adventure park Deltarium in the Deltebre will not disappoint you. What about climbing a wall or attempting to sustain the equilibrium on the Tibetan bridges? Or do you want to practice the archery or pass the lagoon of the park in a canoe? You’ll also be able to recover the traditional way of moving through the Delta. Posting on a boat and putting pressure on the bottom of the water with a hook, you can enjoy of the birds and the landscape from a very different perspective.
And while the oldest ones practice the adventure sports, the youngest can walk around the nature park a bag of grain in their hand to feed the pets. Suddenly they will see themselves surrounded by a lot of hungry ducks. The donkeys, the hens, the goats and the geese approach to greet. In the vegetable garden you can have a look how the artichokes grow before. And ofcourse, you’ll find a play zone.
Enric and Maite invite you to change air for a while and let you surprise by nature, as happened with them mid nineties. They left Barcelona and their frantic jobs to be able to enjoy day by day of the calmness of the Delta.
Timetable:
Nature park: open every the day from 10:00 to 19:00. Adventure Park: open the weekends, bridges and holidays from 10:00 to 19:00. Closed from the 15/12 until the 28/02.
Price:
Nature nature: adults: 5€ and children (3 to 12 years): 3€; Guided visit in Easter and August: supplement of 2€/person. Adventure Park: multi-adventure (climbing, Tibetan bridges and archery): adults: 20€ and children until 14 years: 12€; canoe and traditional boat: adults: 15€ and children until 14 years: 10€. Total experience (multiadventure and boats): adults 34€ and children until 14 years: 20€. The Adventure park tickets include a the entry to the Nature park.
Lunch tips:
In the Nature Park there is a picnic area with tables and a restaurant with home cooking. You will find a menu of 15€ and child menu from 8€ on. The restaurant is open in the weekends, bridges and holidays from 12:45 until 17:00.
