Isn’t it difficult to imagine that wine tourism can be done together with the children, without this being a nightmare for them?

At the winery Buil & Giné in Gratallops they have found a good formula. After a pleasant stroll through the vineyards and the winery where (if you're lucky) at harvest time you can see how the grapes are manually selected to make the best wine, the visit becomes a game. First, you go to the vineyards to pick grapes. Pay attention, because not everything can be cut! After surviving a Segway circuit with an electric skateboard, you should separated in a record time the good grapes from the bad ones (do not worry, they are clusters of paper so you won’t get messed up!). And once you have the grapes, you have to fill the bottle. Manually, without losing any drop of wine; then put the top and design your own label.

Afterwards it’s time to smell and taste. Will you be able to recognize the wine flavors? (be careful there is a trap!) And what about a blind taste (for adults only, of course) to distinguish the wines?

Timetable:

Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00. Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00. Last visit 1 hour before closing time. Closed on 25-26/12 and 1 and 6 / 01.

Price:

Visit and tasting (1h): 10 € / person (from 12 years upwards); tour, tasting and gymkhana (2h30): 25 € / person (from 12 years upwards). Children under the 12 years: for free.

Lunch tips:

The winery has a restaurant with an elaborated traditional cuisine. Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 16:00. Menu: Monday to Friday: 14,90€; weekends: 19,90€. The restaurant has a large terrace where the kids can play if the weather permits it.
