What's the story:

When you visit the quite village of Alcover, it seems impossible that in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries the bandits walked around there? At that time Alcover was the hub of activities of the bandit regions of the Camp, Conca and Garrigues. And as in in the movies, there were two conflicting sides: the Voltor and Morell family.

In October you must be careful again when you walk around the village, because the bandits invade again Alcover for a few days. Each corner is used to hide, escape or kiss while the tragic story of Romeo Morell and Juliet Voltor impacts you.

A great celebration with a medieval market, giants and family shows.

A chance to live in a bandit world for a while!

Lunch tips:

You have two recreational areas i Alcover. Next to the  Remei Chapel you'll find an area with tables and a fountain. There is also a bar where you can have lunch. To get there you must take the TV-7041 from Alcover to Montral. Just before leaving Alcover, in a curve, you must follow a path located in front of you (you will see an indicator of the Ca l'Ermità restaurant).

Around the Mas de Forés (following the road once you pass the remei Chapel) you will find a recreational area with tables and a playground area. If you prefer to enjoy a good meal of traditional Catalan cuisine at a restaurant with swings, go to Ca l'Ermità, a restaurant where the snails are still collected in the fields.
