What's the story:
If you like sweets and cakes, you have an apointment at Carquitast, the demostration fair of sweets which is held every year at L'Espluga de Francolí.
The best cooks of the village will show their skills and share their secrets at the church square. The kids will also demonstrate how to prepare the sweets, and of course, the experts in pastry will be there also. A tour to see how the typical sweets of L’Espluga del Francolí are prepared ... And taste them!
Two days to recover the local cuisine, accompanied by performances of the stick dance and the devil dance.
Timetable:
Saturday May 30, 2009 from 18:00 to 21:00 and Sunday May 31, 2009 from 10:00 to 20:00.
Price:
Sweet tasting at the fair: 6€.
