Local celebrations and traditions

From 1 onwards
What's the story:
What do you think of transforming your children in authentic medieval knights for a day? You now have the opportunity in the Medieval week of Montblanc. At the Knight School, the youngest ones may build a shield, a sword or a helmet. And if you want to become Robin Hood, try shooting with a bow. For those who want to become jockeys in the first place, you can try the horse riding. And you will also be able to attend training sessions with a sword fight.
At any time, the soldiers and knights of the four noble houses organize tournaments where they test their chivalrous skills. Strength, balance, wit and humor are what you'll find in these spontaneous games, where there is nothing to hide. And in the evening all the young participants of the workshops and activities will receive their diploma from the hand of Saint George and the Princess, certifying they have become a knight.
During all day you can enjoy of delicious smells, animals, and crafts such as blacksmiths, glaziers, weavers, shoe manufacturers, at the market place. And if you want a gift just go follow the craft’s man itinerary. All the artisans hide some objects with which they will stamp the program and once completed and released in Medieval Camp you’ll get a reward.
The minstrels will captured the attention of people, and the youngest ones will be impressed with the puppets and jugglers. And we can not forget the most famous spectacle of the Medieval Week: the representation of the legend of Sant Jordi.
