Tradition: Nostre Foc: beasts and devils in El Vendrell
Local celebrations and traditions

El Vendrell, Baix Penedès
Suitable age:
From 1 onwards
What's the story:
Once El Vendrell’s
local celebration of Santa Anna approaches (24 July), the groups
responsible for the fire works of the city present their dragons so the
people can have a better look at them before the passacaglia of the
local festivity.
Do you want to see Caramont, a dragon of 20
meters of length, which according to some people is the biggest of
Europe that throws fire? And what about taking a picture of your kids
next to Cabrot, the dragon that represents Lucifer riding a snake with
2 heads? Seven beasts to admire and two groups of devils who in honor
of the 25th anniversary of Caramont, the 30 years of the recovery of
the dance of devils and the fifth birthday of the beast’s presentation
have prepared a spectacular fire work.
If you want to enjoy a show of fire, color and noise, do not doubt on approaching Vendrell this weekend.
