What's the story:

Firs, cribs, logs, rolled wafers, chocolate... you’ll find everything you need to celebrate Christmas at the typical Christmas markets organized all around Catalonia during the month of December. Valls offers even more: it brings the tradition and the interest in  poultry; so around these dates this city offers you a walk among farmyard birds in baskets, cages or simply roaming around free, brought by the farmers and breeders in the old poultry carriages used to take the animals to sell in Markets.

A Christmas environment with the addition of seeing, smelling and touching a few animals!

Valls’ Christmas Market  it located at different places of the city center. In the streets Cort, Jaume Huguet, Jaume Mercadé and the Pati square you will find a varied offer of items, products and suitable motives for celebrating Christmas; in the Carnisseria Street and the Oli and garrofes squares you can enjoy the fruit and vegtable market on Saturday morning. Also on Saturday morning at the Portal Nou square you’ll find the trade market and on the Esglèsia square a market full of local varieties and agro ecological products.
