What's the story:
From May 7 to 9 2009 Tarragona holds the I Forum on ADHD. The attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity (ADHD) is characterized by inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity, which affects between 3% and 5% of school-age children, resulting in low academic performance and school failure.
The first steps in helping children to handle this situation is to learn and understand ADHD. Now you have the opportunity to learn more about the problem during the First Forum of ADHD with lectures and a workshop for parents: How can I help my child with a learning disorder?, coordinated by Dr. Marina Peña, psychologist and family counselor from Costa Rica. The workshop will be held on May 8 from 18:30 to 21:00.
