About the place:

If you are looking for a restaurant to have a nice lunch with your family at a reasonable price, you have to visit Amanda and Rafael’s Farmhouse. In the mid-eighties they decided that the house they were living in at that moment in Altafulla was becoming too small for them, the girls and especially for their horse Bramble; so they moved to the Farmhouse. The restaurant is sorrounded by a homely atmosphere, with board games, table football on the terrace and animals running around. This is probably due to the fact that initially they were not counting on turning their home into a restaurant; however friends and villagers convinced them to do so. Now during the weekends and holidays they offer meat dishes cooked on embers and cold meats. During the calçot season, they prepare calçotades on request.

As a curiosity and especially for those people living in Tarragona city who might feel a bit nostalgic, one can go there to meet the ducks that used to live at Imperial Tarraco Square as Amanda and Rafael adopted four of these animals. Caballo de Copas is an obligatory stop.
