If the weather is nice and you want to have lunch in a rustic and casual place, just stop at the Granja Sant Francesc of the brothers Joan and Joseph in Altafulla.

Just take a place at one of the large stone tables at the small covered terrace. As a curiosity, the meals are served in aluminum dishes (nice, if you bring young children!), they do not serve coffee (but you can get some really good desserts) and you’ll find a very funny fountain to wash your hands.

Although the house’s specialty is roast chicken, do not forget to try the gazpacho (delicious) and octopus in the sauce. And if it’s too cold to stay outdoors, just take your food away. It’s a service that parents of the Blanc brothers started already in the time they had a chicken farm.

From 13/10 to Easter: Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 17:00. From Easter to 14/05 and from 15/09 to 12/10: Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 23:00 (closed on Sunday evening); from 15/05 to 15/09: open every day from 12:00 to 23:00. Closed: 6/12 to 7/01

The WC is located in the parking area in front of the restaurant, so watch the children as they must cross the street.

Although there is no children's menu as such, you will find dishes such as croquettes, spaghetti and macaroni.
