About the place:
If you want to taste the local dishes of the Delta like the eel in juice or some good rice in a family environment, go to the restaurant L'Estany near the Casa de la Fusta and the lagoon of the Encanyissada. Besides of being able to choose of a menu full of dishes exclusive for children and a menu for celiac people, the kids can amuse themselves at the swings and the farmyard with ducks and hens.
At the end of the eighties Lluis and Elisabeth decided, after having a paella with some friends near the lagoon, that it was a great place to get back to the roots of the Delta. They opened a small restaurant offering local dishes and started to organize traditional activities like going to fish in typical canoes or celebrate the party of the planting and the harvesting of the rice.
A great opportunity to discover the real Delta!
Timetable:
Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 17:30. Weekends and during the months of July to september from 9:30 to 23:00. Closed during 2 weeks in november and on the 25/12.
