Have you ever been in a restaurant where the wine glasses are rented? In the Mas Trucafort, between Bellmunt and Falset, you have the opportunity to bring your own wine at the same time you taste some great Mediterranean dishes such as: salads with extra virgin olive oil and stews made with red wine of the zone with roasted meat. From mid January the period of calçotades opnes with the curiosity that the calçots are eaten in the traditional way: standing and at the wineshelter.
From Easter and only during the weekends traditional breakfasts with sausage are prepared.
Since 2008 Jurate has taken over this restaurant that has some extraordinary views. Besides of being totally accessible, it has a small play zone for the kids.
As a curiosity, the name: when the first owners became older, they started to suffer of hearing problems and they decided to hang a poster on the door where they wrote "TRUCA FORT" (Call hard). Since then, in the village this farmhouse is known as the Mas Trucafort.
Timetable:
From Wednesday to Sunday from 13:00 ito 16:00. Saturdays (previous reservation) also open from 21:00 to 23:00. Closed on 25/12 and the three first weeks of July.
