What about complementing an excursion with a meal outdoors in the middle of the Parc Natural de la Serra del Montsant? In Manolo and Pris will prepare you a menu of salad, “escalivada”, heat potatoes and meat on the ember at the shelter of the hermitage of Sant antoni in Ulldemolins. While you wait for your lunch, children can entertain themselves at the playground and you can pay a visit to the hermitage.

In winter, the salad and “escalivada” is replaced by garlic soup served in the indoor dining room just below the sleeping room of the shelter.

An ideal place to finish a journey in the Sierra del Montsant.

It is essential that you book a table in order to have lunch or dinner at the San Antonio shelter.

Besides the picnic area and restaurant, the hermitage of San Antonio has a mountain shelter for up to 20 people in bunk beds (9 € / night; 25 € / MP) with dining area and shared bathroom with shower; There is also a small camping area (4 € /caravans, 4 €/ tent and person). During the restaurant opens as a cafeteria.

To get to Sant Antoni, you have to arrive to Ulldemolins by the C242. Between km 34 and 35 (just few meters away from the camping Montsant Park), you will find a diversion towards the "Ermites" (hermitages). You have to follow the path almost during 4 km in direction of the hermitage of Sant Antoni. On arriving to a fork where you will find the information office of the Montsant Park, you have to turn towards the right. In 500 meters you will find the hermitage of Sant Antoni.
