About the place:

If you are looking for a flat place where the kids can go skating or biking free of cars and above all you can enjoy of the Mediterranean beach views, you have to go to Cambrils' promenade. You will find bike paths, areas with swings, gardens and kilometers of walking zones. Before starting, you can have a look at the Roman villa of La Llosa, a Roman archaeological site with remains of houses, kilns and a small cemetery. And on your way as a curiosity, hidden in one of the streets behind the promenade, a great treasure: fifty parakeets singing and flying around. A great entertainment fort he little ones. (See pictures)

Direction tips:

Park the car in the parking area around the archaeological site of the Llosa. Take the right side of the promenade in the direction of Montroig del Camp. This area is not that crowded as the one of the Port of Cambrils. Just across the Catering School of Cambrils (about 10 minutes from the Llosa), you will find on your right hand the first play area with a slide and climbing nets. You can make a brief stop or wait until the second area of swings which you will find ten minutes later. If you want to enjoy of a colorful show full of sounds, continue until you find the bridge. Before crossing the bridge you should turn right along the Dorado playa complex. Turn the first street to the left (Paseo de Gottlieb Duttweiler). At the corner with the Doppler street you’ll find a house with a tinny house with a thatched roof. About fifty parakeets will say hello. Up to this point will have walked, biked or sated about 2 kilometers.

Depending on the energy of the children, you can continue your journey by the seaside. You can make the route as long or as short as you please.

After a good walk, you can go to eat at the restaurant Mas Gallau, a rustic farmhouse where the children can see how the meat and flambé pancakes are prepared.
