About the place:
If you are looking for a short and easy itinerary to do with the little ones, you’ll enjoy walking towards the Boyó Source in Vimbodí. Passing by a vegetable garden and a narrow path of fig trees, you will arrive to a place with some magic.
You
will hear the sound of the drops falling from the waterfall. And if -as
some inhabitants of the village suggest - the wild boars have not
stirred up too much the water of the river Milans, you will enjoy of
the view of crystalline water.
You can combine the promenade
perfectly with a visit to the glassmaker of Vimbodí where the smallest
will discover the art of converting the silicon in glass animals.
Direction tips:
The route starts at the parking of the Molí de Salt in Vimbodí. You’ll find the access at km 1 of TV7002 between Poblet and Vimbodí. If you come of Poblet, you will find the path towards the Molí de salt on your left side just after passing a small bridge. If you come from Vimbodí, you will find it exactly before crossing the bridge on your right side. About 500 meters further following the path you will find the parking place. From the parking you will have to follow the signs towars the Font del Boyó. It’s a path that goes down from the parking towards a vegetable garden. Follow the path to the right until arriving to the hence of the farmhouse Molí de Salt. At this point you have border the garden following the small grass path on your left. In less than 10 minutes you’ll arrive to an esplanade where you will find the waterfall of the Boyó Source. You have to undo the path to return to the start point.

Lunch tips:
At less than 2 km in the direction of Poblet you will find the picnic area of the Hermitage of the Virgin of Torrents with barbecues, a ply area, tables and a source. It’s a very pleasant zone with shadow where also you will find the restaurant Els Torrents with great Catalan cuisine.

Duration: aprox. 20 minutes (2 ways without stops)
Distance: aprox. 700 m (two ways).
Accessibility: the path gets narrower after passing the vegetable garden which makes it impossible to pass with prams.
Recommendations: Take water with you and use suitable footwear. It is not a suitable place for bathing or swimming.
